Meet Mandie…

For many years, I lived the tension my clients know well: deep spiritual faith paired with relentless self-pressure. I made bold, intuitive leaps like leaving a misaligned marriage, selling everything to travel and volunteer overseas, and stepping into leadership roles far beyond my age in my twenties — while still trying to prove myself and carry it through sheer will and effort.

The tension this created came to a head when I became Communications Manager at CouchSurfing, during its rapid growth to over a million members. I was leading at scale, but not from my centre. Burnout quickly followed, so did being let go.

What followed that unexpected ‘plot twist’ was a deep surrender. I followed my soul and life led me to live in an off-grid cabin in the Byron Bay hinterland. I got sober and recovered from a 16-year eating disorder. Activated my healing gifts as a Reiki Master and retrained as a coach. And learned how life has a way of responding when you stop forcing and start trusting.

Years later, life returned me to leadership again — flood recovery efforts that became a charity, global-scale creative leadership, and managing a disability arts company. But I led from a completely different internal state - one that could hold under the pressure and allow things to unfold with greater ease.

What I eventually learned is this: life doesn’t respond to techniques but to the frequency you lead from when things are uncertain, outcomes aren’t guaranteed and your faith is being tested.

Activating your Divine Edge is the starting point. It’s not about manifestation hacks or trying to make life bend to your will, but about activating the frequency that allows life to meet you.
