hey there!

I’m Mandie Kai

I guide daring souls to move through life with faith, not force - so the dreams your soul came here to live, and the world we came here to create, stop being something we carry alone but something we trust the Divine is helping us build.

My father's unexpected death when I was 16 ignited my spiritual seeking, and opened me to something greater beyond what my physical eyes could see.

It took me many years to trust this fully. But what I've come to know is that the paths our souls came here to walk, don't always look like our plans. And letting go of control and going with the flow becomes possible when you know you're not doing any of it alone.

You are supported by the Divine and unseen forces - by angels, guides, ancestors and loved ones on the other side.

When you forge a deep relationship with that support, it becomes easier to trust your intuition, take leaps of faith, face the inevitable challenges that arise, find your centre in these uncertain times, walk your soul’s unique path and fulfil your purpose this lifetime (even when it looks vastly different to what you expected).

Oh and the plan you've been gripping so tightly to create or control? It’s often much smaller than what's waiting on the other side of trust and surrender.

I've experienced this time and again…

Me and my Papa…

THE PATTERN OF TRUST AND SURRENDER I’VE LIVED OVER AND OVER

So often my plan was not the one the Divine had in store

MY PLAN

Follow the "right" path — married my childhood sweetheart, bought a suburban house, started a corporate biz career

DIVINE PLAN

Left it all behind at 22 following the inner knowing that path wasn’t for me… sold up and travelled, volunteered and hitchhiked overseas and scored my dream role at Couchsurfing.

MY PLAN

Continue to build global movement CouchSurfing as their Communications Manager as it scaled beyond a million members

DIVINE PLAN

Was unexpectedly let go — and returned to Australia lost and directionless with zero idea of what to do next

MY PLAN

Followed an inner voice that urged me to learn Reiki in Byron Bay - so planned to sleep in my car, learn Reiki and return to Brisbane and “sort my life out”

DIVINE PLAN

Synchronicity led me to live off-grid in a forest cabin in Byron Bay hinterland, where I got sober, recovered from a 16 year eating disorder, became a Reiki Master, retrained as a coach, founded Soul Strategies and became a university career coach

MY PLAN

Planned to quit my university role and go full-time in my business in 2017

DIVINE PLAN

A flood hit our region and I co-led a community flood recovery instead, which we transformed into an award-winning charity that still supports people today

MY PLAN

Only take on roles that fit my social impact values after the flood recovery and I quit the university

MY PLAN

Adopt a baby with Down Syndrome, as I wanted more people with DS in my life after managing so many in a ceremonies cast group

DIVINE PLAN

Was presented with an opportunity to coordinate 4,000 performers at the Commonwealth Games Ceremonies watched by 1 billion people - a role I initially turned down, but was one of the most thrilling experiences of my life

DIVINE PLAN

A series of synchronicities led me to managing a disability dance company instead, with so many artists with Down Syndrome that stole my heart

DIVINE PLAN

Fell in love with Hana and now am queer, childless and the Chief Glitter Fairy in her kids show Big Unicorn Dance Party (didn’t see that all coming!)

MY PLAN

Tried manifesting a husband and kids for over a decade

DIVINE PLAN

Pivoted Soul Strategies to spiritual mentorship and landed a part-time philanthropy role that has allows me to balance biz/work

MY PLAN

Get a full-time leadership role when Hana and I moved to Melbourne

All of it unfolded through divine orchestration and synchronicities that lit my way forward… I just had to trust my own inner knowing and in the unseen forces supporting me - and be open to receive what was meant for me.

We are living through intense times and being called to trust the Divine plan - for our lives and our world.

When you surrender and move with faith, what unfolds is often more extraordinary than anything your mind could have planned.

Woman sitting on a couch, smiling, with brown hair in a bun, wearing a beige halter top and ripped jeans, with a floral tattoo on her arm, next to a decorative mirror and a potted plant.

These days…

I live in Naarm (Melbourne), where I work as a spiritual mentor, intuitive coach, meditation guide and Umana Technique© practitioner and trainer - bringing together 16 years of coaching experience and a lifelong devotion to spiritual exploration.

My connection to the unseen deepens daily. I train in mediumship, sit in development circles and keep opening to be a clearer channel for the Divine to work through me (download my free Receiving Frequency™ meditation for channelled words from spirit that will stir your soul).

On any given day, you can find me sipping strong earl grey tea with journal in hand, scouring charity shops for secondhand clothes, attending a Free Palestine rally, forever finding eco-glitter scattered throughout our home, talking to the neighbourhood trees or escaping to the Peninsula Hot Springs whenever I get the chance.

Every day, I see evidence: We are not alone. We are guided. We don’t have to push so hard to receive what is meant for us.

And I am here to help you experience this too.

Me with my beloved Hana… my role as Chief Glitter Fairy is such a joyful antidote to the intensity of world events

A LIL MORE ABOUT ME (FOR THOSE WHO WANT MORE OF THE DETAILS)

5/1 MANI GEN. SCORPIO SUN. GEMINI MOON. PISCES RISING. UNDIAGNOSED ADHD. DESPISES SMALL TALK AND LIVES FOR 2 HOUR DEEP CONVOS.

  • I believe we’re here to put love into action. I once spiritually bypassed the suffering in the world believing “love and light” was enough. Read my story here that radically changed my view on this. These days I believe prayer and protest must coexist.

  • My younger sister has Down Syndrome and Autism - she taught me unconditional love and how to be unashamedly yourself. My deepest wish is we always have a world with people with Down Syndrome.

  • I once was in an 80's flashmob dance group, and danced in lycra on Australian morning TV (a throwback to my childhood obsession with Young Talent Time).

  • I’ve always loved volunteering, driven by a deep desire to be of service. As a teenager in a small country town I volunteered in a nursing home. They thought I was on court-ordered community service they couldn’t imagine a young person doing it voluntarily 😂

  • Dr Kathleen DesMaisons work on healing sugar addiction through balancing your brain in ‘Radiant Recovery’ changed my life. Her work coupled with amino acid therapy taught me just how good we can feel when we feed our brains what they need (less sugar, more protein!). Looking after myself is the cornerstone of my sobriety and recovery.
