#67 - Being the change we wish to see in the world

Being the change we wish to see in the world has long been something I've aspired to... but it's taken me on a big healing journey to do embody it in a deeper way.

In this episode, I share more of my journey to 'being the change' and explore what it means on an individual and practical level.

It comes with a trigger warning as I discuss my substance abuse and an eating disorder, and how I found healing and self-love. My healing journey involved diving deep to face the parts of myself I was trying to avoid. It's the necessary shadow work we all must do as we embody more love for ourselves and one another.

I discuss the importance of developing healthy habits and routines, as well as compassion and forgiveness in shaping our relationships with ourselves and the world.

Each of our healing journey will be unique. But I hope in hearing more of mine, it gives you hope and encourages you to continue your courageous path and journey towards greater love and peace.

Because as the Dalai Lama said "we won't obtain peace in the outer world until we find peace within ourselves".
